LEP at Waiwera South - 29 July 2014

Manage the environmental and water issues that make your farm unique

    Waiwera South:  Tuesday 29 July, 10am - 3.30pm

(Start at Waiwera South Hall  with a light lunch provided)

This workshop will involve independent assistance to make a definite plan to manage the issues on your farm with a side trip to a nearby farm.

The new 6a Water Plan changes require us to have a definite plan to manage our land and to make best use of the water resource. The ORC is very supportive of this approach.

The AgBoard will use the B+LNZ toolkit to calculate the impact your farming operation has on the surrounding environment and consider strategies to manage any environmental risk for long-term benefit.

    Please bring with you:

    • your farm map (whatever stage of sophistication)
    • Any environmental plan stuff already prepared
    • Gumboots and coat

Registrations are essential. To register either e-mail Paul.McCauley@beeflambnz.com or phone 0800 BEEFLAMB (0800 233 352).

The facilitator will be Graeme Pringle at 027 4183197 or cadb2@ihug.co.nz
